This Privacy Policy explains how RitMEX (“we”, “us”, or “our”) handles information in connection with the RitMEX Earn application, including the website at earn.ritmex.one and any related mobile application (the “App”). RitMEX Earn is a non-custodial interface to the Solana blockchain. We designed it to collect as little information as possible.
1. Information We Do Not Collect
We never collect, request, or have access to:
- your private keys, seed phrase, or wallet password;
- your name, email, phone number, or government identity;
- custody or control of your funds.
2. Information We Process
- Wallet public address. When you connect a wallet, your public address is processed to display your balances and positions and to construct transactions that you sign. A public address is not, by itself, tied to your real-world identity by us.
- On-chain data. Transactions you submit are recorded on the public Solana blockchain by design. This data is public, permanent, and outside our control.
- Technical and usage data. Like most websites and apps, our hosting and content-delivery infrastructure may automatically process standard technical data such as IP address, device and browser type, and timestamps for security, reliability, and abuse prevention.
- Local device preferences. We store preferences such as your theme and language locally on your device (for example, in browser local storage). This data stays on your device and is not transmitted to us.
3. How We Use Information
- to operate, provide, and maintain the App's core functionality;
- to display balances, pools, and positions and to build transactions you sign;
- to secure the App and prevent fraud, abuse, and technical errors;
- to comply with applicable legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it to build advertising profiles.
4. Third-Party Services
The App depends on third-party infrastructure to function. When you use the App, data may be processed by these providers under their own privacy policies, including:
- Solana RPC and node providers that broadcast and read on-chain data;
- Wallet providers you choose to connect;
- Market and price data APIs used to display pool metrics and quotes;
- Hosting and content-delivery networks that serve the App.
We do not control these third parties and are not responsible for their privacy practices. Please review their policies directly.
5. Cookies and Local Storage
We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. We use local storage only to remember functional preferences (such as theme and language) on your device. You can clear this data at any time through your browser or device settings.
6. Data Retention
We retain only the minimal technical data described above and only for as long as needed for security and operational purposes. On-chain data cannot be deleted because it is stored on a public, immutable blockchain that we do not control.
7. Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect the App and the limited data we process. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and the security of your wallet and keys remains your responsibility.
8. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly process data from children.
9. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights regarding personal data. Because we do not maintain user accounts and process only minimal data, our ability to identify or act on data associated with a specific individual is limited. We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent version. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
